Services

Currently we provide a "top-up" service to 55 wards/depts within NGH and Three Shires Hospital. We also supply stock medicines to other clinics/departments/wards at NGH, Northampton PCT, Northampton Healthcare Trust and Daventry & South Northants PCT.

An emergency kit service is also provided for NGH, Northants Healthcare Trust, Daventry & South Northants PCT and Two Shires Ambulance.

A vaccine assembly is provided for the Child, Adolescent and Family Service at NGH.

We hold a Wholesale Dealers Licence and are able to supply to dental and veterinary practices, GPs, hospitals and community pharmacies.

Developments

We have a training package for stores and distribution staff that is assessed for competency. We are looking at re-designing the distibution area.

Staffing

Current staffing levels consist of:

1 Senior Technician
8 Assistant Technical Officers (Full and part-time)
