We have exciting opportunities for Pharmacy Technicians to join our friendly team to introduce new ways of working at ward and dispensary level. We have an excellent Technician-led Dispensary and the posts will be dispensary-based with the opportunity of working at ward level following successful completion of in-house training and competence assessment.
About You: You should hold the NVQ Level 3 with BTEC in Pharmaceutical Services or equivalent. Suitable candidates will be given the opportunity to train as an accredited Checking Technician and follow the in-house Enhanced Technician Counselling course. You should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and have the ability to work methodically, and be able to prioritise your work. We would welcome applications from candidates who hold an NPA or Buttercup/NVQ Level 3 who would like the opportunity of converting their qualification to BTEC by attending day release for one year to gain the appropriate under pinning knowledge
