Education and Training Pharmacist with Obstetric and Gynaecology Directorate Predicted Band 8a (subject to Agenda for Change)(Ref: ?) Working with the Regional Pre-registration Pharmacist Facilitator at De Montford University and with the local tutors, you will be responsible for the co-ordination and management of 3 Pre-registration Trainees in the Trust. Our new regional programme will be starting in August 2005, so this is an exciting time to become involved in Pre-registration training. Ideally you will have experience of training, tutoring and mentoring students. This post is attractive to the candidate wishing to shape future Pharmacists whilst retaining their clinical skills by being the Directorate Pharmacist for Obstetrics and Gynaecology. We are seeking an enthusiastic Pharmacist looking for a new challenge to join our pro-active, forward thinking team in the Oncology Directorate. You will be responsible for delivering a Clinical Pharmacy Service to the Oncology/Haematology Directorate, including visits to the ward and Outpatient Clinics. Your duties will also include responsibility for the delivery of Clinical and Technical Services relating to the Aseptic Services Unit and deputise for the Oncology and Child Health Directorate Pharmacists.

The Pharmacy The 90+ staff provide services to over 1,100 beds. We have a WDL Licence, Specials Licence and on-site QA. Satellite services are provided to a local Mental Health Trust from Princess Marina Hospital. We have good relationships with clinical staff, other Trusts and local PCO’s.
